I am Md Wahid, father of Zara from Lucknow. Unfortunately, my daughter is suffering from ventricular septal defect (VSD) - Hole in the heart. We have been through a challenging journey in her treatment. We exhausted all our resources, having spent 2 lakh rupees, and were left with nothing monetarily. There were days in Delhi when we had to survive without meals. Only I know the struggle of arranging two meals a day for my little angel Zara. Despite all efforts, as a father, I felt helpless watching my daughter suffer daily, inching closer to death.
